Like cults and abusive relationships, MLM schemes suck you in with false promises, delusions of a fantasy lifestyle and love bombing. You have a negative attitude. The damage caused by this emotional abuse and isolation is enormous.

They have all — every single one — been afraid of repercussions from their former teams. And with good reason: some of the stories we have heard about brave people who have publicly spoken out would make a terrifying Hollywood thriller. So if indeed the MLM industry is in decline, it is good news. Not just for all the brave people working hard to expose the industry, but for everyone except the company owners and the people in the top 0.

Another aspect of ego is the temptation to claim success for yourself but blame others when things go wrong. The buck always stops with the company CEO.

Avoid blaming distributors for not selling, recruiting well, or complaining about products. When something fails, you need to own it. What I articulate in the video is not home-spun psychology. With so many MLM startups biting the dust, they are observations we witness all too frequently.
